Where you are

On Monroe's Pond, just off the Trans-Canada near Lewisporte in central Newfoundland. Leave the Trans-Canada at the Lewisporte exit and follow the Hideaway Chalet signs from Notre Dame Junction; the last stretch is along the T'Railway. GPS does not find the chalet, so full directions come with your booking. You can drive right to the door, year round, with room for trailers. Twillingate and the Farewell ferry for Fogo and Change Islands carry on north from Lewisporte.

Rental agreement

House rules

The booking is for the named guests only, up to 6 guests. No one besides the people staying at the property is permitted unless the host has authorized it first. Check-in 3:00 pm, check-out 11:00 am, unless agreed in writing. Minimum stay 2 nights. No smoking. No parties. Dogs welcome by prior arrangement, $25 per stay; cats are not permitted. Quiet hours 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Before any outdoor fire, make sure there is no fire ban in effect. The guest is responsible for damage beyond normal wear.
